Christmas Parades at Walt Disney World are an annual American TV special that airs on ABC. It is filmed live outside Disney World Resort in Orlando – usually, it would be filmed roughly a month before Christmas, but this year it will be filmed and broadcast on December 25.

In the past, this show has included segments filmed in different areas of Disney World such as Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, water parks, and lots of other entertainment areas.

Christmas parade times are really the most wonderful time of the year at Disney World, and this year, Disney is excited to bring them back.

The show hosts will be the incredible dancing siblings Julianne and Derek Hough and they will be at the Walt Disney World Resort, with Trevor Jackson and Sherry Cola joining forces to make it the most memorable event.

The good news is that this is not all; anyone who will be watching the Christmas Parades at Disney World will get to see some exclusive peeks at what’s new with the company, including movies such as Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, West Side Story, which is Steven Spielberg’s latest film, plus a look at Encanto, one of Disney’s latest animated films.


Walt Disney World Christmas Parades Dates

The parade will air on December 25, and the Christmas Parade times are between 10 am and 12 pm ET/PT. This is exclusively on ABC, but the stream will be available the next day on Hulu.


COVID-19 regulations

Because the pandemic has significantly affected how we do things, the Christmas Parade will require mandatory face masks for guests and kids aged two and above. Guests must also adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain 6 feet apart at all times.

The Magical Kingdom

Christmas Parades at Disney World are coming back after a few years hiatus and they start with Mickey’s once upon a Christmastime that will feature Minnie and Mickey in holiday décor. It will end with Santa, and your kids will enjoy this.


You will get a glimpse into other countries’ Christmas celebrations with the EPCOT festival of holidays. This unique representation includes the Mexican Pavilion and Las Posadas, plus the Canadian Holiday Pavilion.

Everything will be super authentic and excellent for kicking off these holiday celebrations at the Walt Disney Christmas Parade.
